Prices are information only. You and the other person settle payment and handover directly, so there’s no checkout, no wallet and no fees on your deals.

Privacy is the product

- Photos are stripped of location and device data before upload.
- The optional “when did you break up?” answer stays on your account; it is never shown or sent to analytics or ads.

What is fromEx?
fromEx is an iOS app where people swap or sell items left over from past relationships, such as clothes, books, tech, gifts, music and home items. It is built to be private, with a nickname instead of a real name and tools to hide from specific people.
Is fromEx available yet?
Not yet. fromEx is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone. Join the waitlist on this page and we’ll email you once when it launches.
Does fromEx handle payments?
No. There are no payments inside the app. Prices are information only; you and the other person agree on payment and handover yourselves, outside the app.
What is Ex Shield?
Ex Shield lets you hide your profile and listings from specific people by adding their phone number, email address or username. The values are converted into irreversible fingerprints on our servers, so fromEx cannot read them back. It is free for everyone.
Will my ex see my listings?
Not if you add them to Ex Shield. You can also stay anonymous: you only need a nickname, and your email, phone number and exact location are never shown to other users.
Is fromEx free?
Yes to start: one listing per month with up to three photos. The optional fromEx Pro subscription lifts those limits and adds extras. Safety features are always free.
Which languages and countries are supported?
fromEx works in English, Turkish, Portuguese (Brazil) and German, and you can choose any country, region and city.
What can I list?
Everyday second-hand items. Weapons, drugs, stolen or counterfeit goods, adult content, personal data and anything targeting a person are not allowed. See the Community Rules.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. You can also email support@fromex.app. We delete your profile, listings, photos, messages and Ex Shield entries.
